So today i got the building manager job!!!!!!
summary of good things:
-interview last week = heart attack city
-i got hired as a photographer and sports supervisor
-going to china from Nov. 30-Dec 20th
-concelia's surprise party was friday and it was funky but a success. the fight at the end made it GLORIOUS and awesome
-my last drawing is going on display in the loop
bleh things:
-winter break work schedule. sucks balls for sure.
-finals coming up= i fail at life

so its 4:45am and i have to be at work in 15 min.. its all old people that come in and they are grumpy (because they "have" to work out so GD early. bastards). anyways, what's new?
-i saw Wall E with keeeeeeeley! and to her brothers bands show which was bueno
-went to mordhaus for lucy's bday/4th of jewwww-lie
-worked a shit ton
- decided to apply to be a manager when the time comes
-got accepted to study abroad
-me and julie still hate michael. big surprise.

sleeping after eating sucks, thus the random late night update.
birthday: everybody drank too much and it resulted in Justin getting his head shaved and a swastika shaved into his chest. CJ fell asleep/woke up cuddling with the bathroom rug which is sick, bong water was sprayed, and plenty of other shit that i dont remember.
julie's bday: jewelry show at rachels which was fun. then dinner with julie and her friends. eh, it was alright.
The Hives: i love them so much but going to Mil-COCK-ee sucked a lot. fuck that place. these stupid old hags that had their great grandchildren make them mixed tapes of the hives were being assholes at the show and rachel told them to fuck off and it was awesome! and i wish it was on tape so we can watch it over and over again. fuck old people. the chicago show was so much better and the crowd didn't suck. we literally ran the fuck out of there because it sucked. and i drove about 90 mph the whole way home. fuckem.
random: yesterday = interview for the study abroad program to china. if i dont get to go, kamil's family invited jtang and i to Poland which would still be cool but....its fuckin china. my skin color isnt going to change so i might as well pretend to be asian-ish.
i got hired as a fitness floor supervisor! woo! but not really cuz it's nothing special. then after work karla, nicole, and poppe went out hence eating so late.
apparently, i'm going over to mordhaus now, so adios. oh and GDMF-er has been the saying of the week.

im writing this because im in denial that school starts up again today. it sucks that depaul goes by a quarter system cuz we get out in the summer WAAAAY later than pretty much everybody. henyways, the weekend of march 21, keeley, jtang and i went to minnesota just because we could. in total we counted 22 cars/semis off road cuz of the shitty weather. our hotel was freaking sweet. the people at the mall of america were very mean. i'm glad we got it out of our systems and we'll never have to go back there again, yay!
THE HIVES! AGAIN IN MILWAUKEE! sooooo excited. got my lollapalooza, hives, and jimmy eat world ticket. i really wanted to see Jason Mraz (i dont know why but im obsessed with him right now) but hes playing during my night class and its sold out anyways...id ditch it for him cuz hes fucking adorable. oh, on saturday we had an old school party and rediscovered how awesome n64 is. sweeeeet.

So.... The Hives were absolutely amazing! I haven't left a show that happy in a long time. It was probably the best show I've been to, next to the Sex Pistols of course because they're...well..the Sex Pistols. Before the show, Ray, Rachel and Chelsea came over for a bit then we went to the Riviera and met Lisa and her friend Rick/Ric? iunno. They played with The Donnas and they were ok I guess, I don't know them. The Hives were SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD. Seriously, the new album is still awesome and it was better live. im going to list what they played for my own entertainment so this will probably mean nothing to you. sorry?
so it was awesome. and there was this drunk old lady that i think was by herself but she was holding a lighter the whole time so the guitarist kept flinging picks at her and rick got one and i did too! i still do not understand how he flung the picks up that high and that far cuz we were on the freaking balcony. she was crazy but crazy got me a pick so its all good.
besides that, since the last time i updated um.... my mom went to Cali for a month and now shes back but leaving for China for a month pretty soon. i dont understand how she travels with michael. ive done it twice and both times (especially new york) i was freaking out because he's so annoying. and then i ended up traveling all over by myself because hes embarrassingly clingy to my mom. its fuckin sick.
keeley and i have our thursday rituals which are awesome. she comes over after class and we have mini marathons of The Office. OH and duh, we both got tattoos a couple of weeks ago. shes got the sweet jimmy-phones. mine sounds really fuckin tarded but i dont care. its 3 daisies. a blue, green, and magenta one. one for me, my mom and sister. im really glad we went together cuz it was fun and the dude who did mine was very very creepy and talked about his dogs and small child for about 40 minutes. i pretty much went out of my mind the next few weeks cuz it itched like a mother fucker.
i saw my dad for the first time in about 6 months. he wants to come over every saturday for lunch. i have mixed emotions. i cant talk to him. a lot of it is the language barrier but still our relationship is mainly superficial. whatever.
my night class teacher is slowly driving me insane. he blows his nose in the middle of sentences but it a really fast-scary way. his sense of humor is really effed up and obnoxious. instead of lecturing in class, he puts podcasts of his own voice to follow along with the book so we can put it on our ipods and listen to his scary voice on the go! but he still lectures in class. and we do arts and crafts like cut out shapes and tape them together. its so mind numbingly stupid.
back to positive things, i put some of the 250 pictures i took of The Hives on a facebook album so im excited. yes,i know that it is kind of sickening that i took 250..... forgive me.

ok so real quick before work, i have good good good news. The restaurant from HELL sold!!! i never ever ever have to work there, or at any festival, or anywhere again! i don't have to have stinky shitty gross chinese food stinking up my car ever again! not that it tastes bad, it just smells like hot vomit to me. yes, hot vomit. my last day was friday and now the only reason why i'll ever go remotely near Joliet is to BOMB IT. family evacuated first of course.
oh and i'm having people over for new years eve so if you want to come, go ahead. im warning you now that if you're too drunk to go home, i have a limited number of blankets, and hardwood flooring. sorry? please don't vomit on my belongings.
We made cookies on xmas. This is the dead snowman cookie who got shot/stabbed.

i won't be around for a while soooo here it goes.
-I have a new job at the depaul fitness center! but the shifts are mostly at 5:15am....balls.
-crap is going down at the restaurant. eff that.
-I GOT A NEW NIKON D80!!!!!! never ever ever thought i would actually get one but i did! i pretty much sold my first born for it and will still not receive gifts from anyone for the next 25+ years. it's worth it because it is. the N80 has a big brother now which is awwwwwwesome

i have decided the Black and White Album by The Hives is their best album yet. it's awesome. it's really really awesome.
Also, Chase This Light, jimmy eat world is muy...bueno/bien...whichever. thank you keeley! its signed and its pretty. they were fun live.
i'm done with school!!!!! i finished today and i think i did ...fairly well. woohoo! aced photography. i got a 99.6%, did pretty well in painting, and im iffy about the other two classes....art history and some computer crap. i really dont care though as long as i pass. might get a job at the gym and if i do, it'd be pretty sweet.
going over to madre's casa for thanksgiving (pfffff) and kamils going over too i guess. i dont know what to get anyone for christmas. i want a Nikon D80 soooooooooososoooooooooosososososososososososososooooooo badly. damn you nikon, i hate loving you.

- the final projects in painting are fucking stupid because even though you have a perfectly fine painting, you have to "go somewhere with it, theme wise" fuck fuck fuck that.

i love love love love love love love The Hives. they are so good live and make me love swedish people. other than that, the pumpkin fest was this weekend...... very very unpleasant so thats that. happy news! I bought a Nikon N80!!!!!! some day i'll have a D80.... sure. my new favorite show besides Scrubs is the office. its awesome.
the only reason why i'm updating this is because i'm procrastinating and i do NOT want to write my "formal analysis" of a really ugly stupid painting. woo

today is my day off and so far this summer is kinda sucking. nothing bad happened but my mom's making me and my sister work for her and im on every weekend. basically i get like 2-3 days in Lincoln Park and the weekend in Joliet/Plainfield. it sucks balls only cuz the citizens of Joliet are bastards. fat rude cheap bastards. i miss working in schaumburg. ray comes and visits during the weekend so thats all good. and!!!! i found old pictures which is awesome cuz our photo albums are MIA.
I wanna see The Hives so badly...they haven't come here in forever and i've never seen them live. Theyre playing with Maroon 5 though so its a bigger crowd. yaaaaaaaaaaay the hives!

holy fucking shit they turned my family's old restaurant into a club looking bar. apparently somebody made a facebook invite to "Da House" and actually tried to make House of Hunan "hip". its weird. and im still confused as to why a nice polish family would want to run a chinese restaurant.
im totally bummed.
